Conference Highlights

Food, Fun, Family, Faith and Fellowship was the highlights of the 'Conference At Sea'. Participants have already started planning for 2011 'Conference At Sea'. A Steering Committee was selected representing six states Texas, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, Louisiana & Ohio to promote next year's cruise. Day Three: Wednesday

General Morning Session was led by the dynamic Rev. Dr. John Grant, Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Ashville, North Carolina. Key topic of discussion included: “Husbands are called into Submission also”, “A Biblical Method for Debt Elimination”, and “In All Seasons Meditation and Concentration”. After the morning sessions many of the attendees enjoyed their day in the Bahamas by going on horse and carriage rides, straw market bargaining with the locals, and historical tours around the island.

Day Two: Tuesday

The group assembled at 10:30 AM attired in red conference t-shirts. Today’s discussion for married couples “Commitment: Stay Together Until the End” and for singles “The Steps for Joyful Living: Prayerful and Purposeful”. The Conference sessions were so dynamic that it was no hurry to disembark the ship for CocoCay. The following are Conference Sessions and activities of the day.

Day One: Monday

The majority of the conference attendees eagerly boarded the Monarch of the Seas at 1:00 pm. Many had the expectation of strengthening their marriages, enjoying some “me” time, and learning more about one’s purpose. Welcome Aboard opening session included introductions from everyone. After a long day of travel the group was looking forward to dining together. The scrumptious meals consisted of rib-eye steak, lamb shank, shrimp primavera, and scallop rissotto. The following are many faces and activities from Day One Monday.

Singles/Married Couples Conference At Sea

Looking ahead April 19 for the Annual Singles/Married Couples Conference onboard Royal Caribbean's Monarch of the Seas. The joyful Conference is hosted by Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Florida. We will be sailing from Port Canaveral Florida to Coco Cay and Nassau Bahamas. The five day sailing will include various seminars for Singles and Married Couples each day with joint Worship Service with dynamic speakers. We all are looking forward to fellowship, fun and spiritual enrichment. Various churches nationwide will be in attendance at the Conference.
